Licensed Practical Nurse - Permanent Casual

Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care within your assigned home area. Ensure safekeeping of drugs and narcotics while following protocols on all shifts. Create a safe environment that supports resident privacy, dignity, and autonomy. Optimize residents' functional ability by collaborating with the interprofessional team, monitoring care, and communicating with families. Seek direction from the RN when resident needs exceed your scope of practice and report changes in resident status promptly. Document priorities, target dates, and interventions on individualized care plans. Collect data for nursing history during admissions and status changes. Participate in in-service programs, conferences, and workshops to continually assess learning needs.
