Job Summary
Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and room patients while obtaining health histories and vital signs. Administer medications, perform injections and immunizations, assist providers with minor in-office procedures, and conduct point-of-care testing. Document all patient care using electronic medical record software. This role requires 100% travel across Leominster, Natick, Worcester, Hudson, and Auburn sites within an urgent care setting. Hours vary between 8:00 AM and 9:30 PM, seven days a week, with a mandatory weekday and weekend shift per month.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Massachusetts or have the ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 1+ years experience
- Experience in an ambulatory setting with telephone triage
- 100% travel throughout all sites in the region - Leominster, Natick, Worcester, Hudson, and Auburn
- 1 weekday & 1 weekend shift per month required
- Maximum of 80 hours/month and 960 hours/year
- Hours: Vary between 8:00 AM - 9:30 PM
