Job Summary
Provide direct pediatric outpatient nursing care in a government-contract clinic. Responsibilities include patient intake, triage, vital signs, administering medications and immunizations, IV therapies, assisting providers with exams and procedures, monitoring treatment responses, and educating pediatric patients and families on care plans and prevention. Work in a fast-paced, team-based pediatric outpatient setting at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth with a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site duties, and potential weekend/holiday coverage. Fully onsite role focused on military families in a structured, mission-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State Board-approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military training
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience within the last 2 years
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
