Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, including managing medication refills, overseeing the CT Vaccine Program, and documenting assessments and interventions in the electronic health record. Coordinate with medical assistants to ensure safe, efficient patient care; perform wound care with infection-control practices; conduct screenings and related assessments (depression, sexual history, alcohol/substance use) as part of meaningful use documentation, and participate in cross-training across multiple specialty areas, including pediatrics. Maintain patient safety standards, support office operations, and contribute to a collaborative care team; comply with vaccination requirements and drug-testing protocol.
