Job Summary
Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, perform as a licensed caregiver and assume responsibility for assigned residents. Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the resident's plan of care while adhering to state standards and center policies. Manage the environment to maintain safety and supervise nursing assistants. Calculate drug dosages, use necessary supplies and equipment, and relate positively with residents, families, and staff. Work part-time on the 2nd shift with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
