Job Summary
Coordinate and evaluate resident care plans under RN supervision while managing the environment to ensure patient safety. Supervise nursing assistant care activities and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Calculate drug dosages, operate medical equipment such as feeding pumps and oxygen, and maintain compliance with center policies. Provide direct licensed care to assigned residents throughout the shift. Join a home-friendly, outdoor setting within the Upper Midwest's largest post-acute care network.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
