Job Summary
Full-time LPN/Special Education Paraprofessional to assist district nurses and Health Services Coordinator in health-related tasks, implement student health care plans, support students with disabilities in classroom and around the building, assist with communication and scheduling of health service plans, administer medications as per health plans, oversee immunizations and TB testing requirements, and coordinate with the Health Services team to provide care in health office and classrooms.
Required Qualifications
- Evidence of a Statement of Approval from the Will County Regional Office of Education to serve as a teacher aide with license registered in Will County
- Current CPR certification is required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification/background is required
