Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specialized in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) provides nursing care to assigned patients under supervision, collects data through observation, and communicates findings to support RN/provider in patient assessment and care planning. Serves as a member of the healthcare team, accepts delegation, delivers care per the patient care plan and organizational policies, and may contribute to quality improvement projects. Demonstrates excellent communication, mentoring/instructing abilities, and participates on committees or projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license
- Eligibility to practice as LPN in Minnesota or licensure by endorsement
- Strong communication skills
- Mentoring and instruction abilities
- Ability to collaborate within a healthcare team
- Ability to participate in quality improvement projects
- Ability to follow patient care plans and organizational policies
