Licensed Practical Nurse - Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Perform patient treatments as ordered by the physician, collect and document patient information, and assist in pre- and post-operative procedures. Collect vital signs, provide patient and family education, and direct test results to physicians for review. Coordinate and evaluate the patient plan of care, ensuring it is consistent, individualized, and properly documented. Assist with minor office procedures and occasionally provide surgical assist services in the office only. Schedule and carry out patient follow-up calls, returning phone calls in a timely manner. Obtain scheduling information including procedure type, anesthesia, length of stay, and patient demographics. Communicate with hospital staff regarding scheduling and pre-admission testing. Work Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no holidays or weekends. Requires a valid LPN license, accredited program graduation, and EPIC experience preferred.
