Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse - Outpatient

Job Summary
Administers and oversees medications and related treatments in outpatient settings, monitors patients' vital signs, maintains accurate medical records, administers injectable medications, educates patients on medication side effects, obtains preauthorization when needed, documents care comprehensively, transcribes orders, conducts pregnancy tests and drug screens, maintains medicine and supply inventories, schedules external medical appointments, ensures CLIA standards are followed, and collaborates with MD/APRN/RN to manage medication clinics. Requires completion of an accredited nursing program, Kentucky LPN licensure (or RN equivalent), and 6-12 months of nursing experience; vaccinations (COVID and Influenza) are required for employees.
Required Qualifications
- Up to eighteen months of education or training beyond high school in nursing or related field of study
- License for Practical Nursing in Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Minimum 6-12 months nursing experience
- Reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites
