Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision using the nursing process, maintaining accountability for assigned patients on the Surgical 3B unit. Perform head-to-toe assessments, telemetry monitoring, and procedures including NG tube insertions, IVs, CBI's, chest tube care, trach/ostomy care, and wound management. Coordinate care across departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Work 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) with rotational weekends. New graduates receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus; experienced LPNs earn higher incentives based on tenure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation
- LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Nightshift availability
- Full time or part time availability
- 12-hour shifts 7pm-7am
- Rotational weekends
