Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision using the nursing process, maintaining accountability for assigned patients on the Surgical 3B unit. Perform head-to-toe assessments, telemetry monitoring, IV insertions, and wound care for pre- and post-surgical GI, Urology, and ENT patients. Manage NG tubes, CBI's, chest tubes, trach, ostomy care, and drains while coordinating with other departments. Work 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) with rotational weekends in a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license within 90 days of hire and hold LPN-IV certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation
- LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Nurses work 12-hour shifts 7pm-7am
- Rotational weekends
- Only nightshift currently available
- Full time and part time available
