Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision on a surgical unit focusing on adult post-operative orthopedic traumas and neurosurgery. Utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability, coordinate care across departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license within 90 days of hiring, including LPN-IV certification and Basic Life Support training. Work 12-hour shifts with rotational weekends, available full-time or part-time.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation
- LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Nurses work 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotational weekends
