Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned adult medical patients on the 3D Med-surg Telemetry unit, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. Monitor patients using telemetry equipment while adhering to state regulatory board supervision and Registered Professional Nurse direction. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld throughout daily shifts. Work 12-hour rotations (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with weekend differentials, available full-time or part-time. Join the Innovation Unit as a testing ground for new optimization ideas using PDSA cycles to solve nursing challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation
- LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotational weekends
