Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under RN supervision for assigned adult medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring in the 3D Med-Surg Telemetry Innovation Unit. Coordinate patient care across departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Apply critical thinking and assessment skills to support improvement projects using PDSA cycles within the Innovation Unit framework. Work 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with rotational weekends in a full-time or part-time capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation
- LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Nurses work 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotational weekends
