Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide routine nursing care at the Anna John Resident Centered Care Community, ensuring complete and quality care for residents. Responsibilities include direct nursing under supervision, medication administration, supervising CNA staff, maintaining medical records, and assisting with rehabilitation care.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed in the State of Wisconsin
- Maintain CPR and Red Cross First Aid Certification during employment.
- Knowledge of geriatric medicine
Desired Qualifications
- Child Abuse Reporting Policy (CARP) Training (Hrd), within ninety (90) days of employment
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certified
- Health Insurance Portability (HIPAA) Accountability, within thirty (30) days of employment and annually thereafter
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check to meet Employment Eligibility Requirements
- Must provide proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR and Varicella prior to employment
- Must undergo a Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or 2 step TB Skin Test within thirty (30) days of employment
- Individuals of Indian ancestry and Veterans will be given preference by law in employment
