Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Oncology providing direct patient care in the Injection Room, including pediatric vaccinations; supports IV care, immunizations, and routine medical treatments per physician directives. Involves vitals, EMR documentation, patient teaching, equipment prep, and assisting with procedures. Requires at least one year of nursing experience, strong communication, HIPAA/OSHA compliance, and BCLS certification; EMR proficiency and adherence to infection control policies are essential.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience in related field of nursing and/or area of specialty.
- Proficient computer skills with EMR experience.
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS).
- Adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations; maintain required workplace trainings.
