Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Responsibilities include administering treatment, medication, and diagnostic procedures, as well as monitoring resident care and communicating necessary updates to the Delegating Nurse. You will also maintain accurate resident records, ensure care tasks are delegated effectively, and uphold resident confidentiality. This part-time on-call position requires current LPN licensure in the State of MD and CPR training, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of MD
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relations
- Use of mature judgment and excellent problem-solving skills
