Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor well-being in the Observation Telemetry unit at Via Christi St. Francis. Safely administer medications and treatments while executing vital laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Empower patients and families by demystifying complex treatment plans and guiding them toward confident transitions to self-care and long-term wellness. This role requires a Kansas-licensed Practical Nurse with current IV Certification, BLS certification, and a night shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- High School diploma equivalency
- 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- current IV Certification at the time of hire
