Job Summary
Assist the Registered Nurse in implementing the nursing process, administering medication therapy and vaccines, and performing patient treatments and procedures. Document patient responses to treatment and teaching, observe and report significant physical or safety status changes, and provide health education and translation services based on patient needs. Communicate care requirements to ancillary staff and demonstrate respect for cultural backgrounds while performing duties aligned with organizational mission. Requires NYS LPN license, bilingual ability, and 1-2 years of nursing experience. Salary is $36.49 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 1-2 years of experience in hospital based nursing, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB/Gyn
- Ambulatory care experience
- Willingness to devote the time required completing assigned tasks on schedule
- NYS LPN License
- Bilingual in languages based on site's needs
- Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
