Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Responsibilities include planning and managing patient care, interviewing patients and recording medical history, obtaining vital signs, providing routine care, observing and documenting patient health, reviewing medical charts, assisting physicians and RNs, communicating with patients and families, performing diagnostic procedures (EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, Doppler), preparing specimens for lab, administering medications, wound care, injections/enemas, patient comfort, and monitoring catheters. Requires Michigan state-approved training, LPN license (NCLEX-PN), and BLS; 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred. Shift options include 12-hour day and night blocks.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Michigan state approved training program
- Michigan LPN license (pass NCLEX-PN exam)
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years recent nursing experience
