Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, assisting health care providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures. Obtain patient health history, administer vital signs and TB skin tests, and conduct lab tests while ensuring results are delivered to the correct physician. Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities, administer medications, implement healthcare practitioners' orders, and document all patient contacts using the POMR format. Review patient charts to report observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in conditions. This night shift position (7P-7A) every other weekend requires a current LPN license, CPR certificate, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Required Qualifications
- Current/Active state license as an LPN
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen
