Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, coordinates with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery, and assists physicians or other providers with clinical procedures and patient teaching. The role involves direct patient care, communication with the care team, and participation in patient planning and education, aligned with established standards and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- New York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standing
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references
- Preferred: Minimum of one year experience as an LPN or two years as a medical assistant in a pertinent practice area
- Current CPR/BLS certification
