Licensed Practical Nurse

Administer and dispense medications for Substance Use Disorder treatment in accordance with New Jersey State and Federal regulations under RN supervision. Accurately document medication administration, vital signs, patient assessments, and clinical interactions while monitoring patient health status and communicating concerns promptly. Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and potential side effects, and conduct patient intake screenings to collect relevant medical information. Prepare and administer TB skin tests, immunizations, and other treatments as directed, providing basic wound care and responding to medical emergencies. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and ensure adequate inventory of medical supplies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated patient care, assist with scheduling, and serve as a liaison for continuity. Support clinical operations for the Department of Corrections program. Requires active New Jersey LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and experience in behavioral health or OTPs. Part-time role (20–24 hrs/week, Mon–Fri 5:45 AM–1:00 PM) at New Brunswick Counseling Center.
