LIcensed Practical Nurse

Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to individuals receiving services under the direction of an RN or physician. Complete health assessments, input diagnoses for nursing care plans, and monitor physician orders while following up on medical and dental appointments. Administer medications, track logs, and act as a liaison to pharmacy, conducting quality assurance checks on health care records. Provide emergency coverage and care for individuals receiving services, and participate in an on-call system as needed. Oversee staff administering medication and provide training on infection control, self-medication, and safety protocols. Coordinate services with external agencies to ensure consistent treatment and assist with household activities, transportation, and meal preparation.
