Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Neuro provides patient care in the neuro unit using the nursing process under supervision of licensed prescribers/RN. Responsible for coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and performing duties in line with Mercy standards. Requires a Missouri LPN license, BLS, and LPN-IV certification; new graduates welcome. Full-time, days, at Mercy Hospital South (St. Louis, MO).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months
- Ability to meet State Board of Nursing requirements
