Job Summary
Provide personal care and health teaching under Registered Nurse supervision to meet patient and family needs. Promote a caring environment by observing and practicing sterile technique, maintaining asepsis, and assisting the surgeon as needed. Actively participate in patient care and safety while utilizing OR supplies conservatively as a team member. Requires a current New York State Practical Nurse License, CPR certification within three months of hire, and graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing school. Previous clinical hospital experience is preferred. Full-time and part-time shifts are available at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
- CPR Certification within 3 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting
