Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Mountains Behavioral Health provides care to mentally ill individuals under the supervision of an RN. Key responsibilities include utilizing knowledge of age-specific needs, leading therapeutic groups, collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, observing and documenting patient conditions, and ensuring quality care in alignment with organizational values. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited LPN program, possess at least 1 year of med-surg or geriatric/behavioral experience, and obtain BLS certification within one month of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- 1 year med-surg experience and/or geriatric/behavioral health experience
- BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire
Additional Requirements
- Will be required to float to all units, including geropsych, adult, and adolescent
