Job Summary
Monitor resident health, safety, and well-being while conducting thorough assessments and assisting with medication administration. Supervise care staff, including Certified Nursing Assistants, in accordance with state regulations and community policies. Maintain clinical quality assurance under federal, state, and local standards. Promote the company mission by delivering the highest degree of service to residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness. This part-time role (22-29 hours/week) includes on-the-job training and supports Monarch Communities' values of compassion and innovation. The Wellness Nurse (LPN) works within the Health and Wellness team to foster a collaborative environment for residents and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- current LPN license
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) skills
- Ability to learn new applications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
