Job Summary
Deliver patient care interventions and collect data under supervision while adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and hospital Standards of Care. Manage multiple priorities, handle verbal instructions, and work independently in crowded or confined areas across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Perform repetitive tasks, maintain manual dexterity and coordination, and respond to alarms and telephones. Stand for 2-4 hours, sit for 2-3 hours, and walk 5-6 hours daily, exerting force up to 50 lbs occasionally. Manage stress, make decisions under pressure, and handle hostility appropriately while wearing personal protective equipment. Use Meditech for computer tasks and maintain a safe environment consistent with Amberwell Healthcare's mission.
Required Qualifications
- Kansas LPN license
- BLS
- Less than one year
- Manage stress appropriately
