Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse leads unit resident care by supervising direct care staff, reviewing daily assignments, and initiating/updating the nursing care plan. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a current Indiana nursing license in good standing. Preference for at least one year of Long Term Care experience. Must demonstrate emotional stability, ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift; maintain confidentiality and professional conduct. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Indiana nursing license in good standing
- Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field
- Ability to perform nursing duties including resident assessment and care-plan development
- Capacity for extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting
- Professional attitude, confidentiality, cooperativeness, and conscientious time management
