Job Summary
Compassionate LPN will provide medical support to clients in a home-care setting, collaborating with the RN and physician to implement and follow the nursing care plan. Responsibilities include reporting changes in patient condition, preparing clinical/progress notes, assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, supporting the physician and RN in complex nursing situations, following universal precautions, and following emergency procedures. Requires a state LPN license, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally. Flexible scheduling is required.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license as an LPN
- Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
- Proof of current CPR certification
- 1 year experience as an LPN in a home care setting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible schedule and travel locally
