Job Summary
Provide care for residents in the Skilled Unit and Long Term Care Unit, including medication administration with IVs, vital sign monitoring, and functional therapeutic activities. Evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision while supervising CNAs. Deliver resident and family education and maintain communication with physicians, NPs, families, and other healthcare professionals. Requires NYS CNA or LPN license, BLS certification, and recent physical documentation. Located in Manhattan.
Required Qualifications
- NYS CNA or LPN License & Registration
- Updated healthcare resume
- Recent Physical + MMRV + PPD documentation
- Two reference letters
- Valid Photo ID / SSC / I-9 documents
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- passion for geriatric population
- must contain a license
- be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision
- posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience
