Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while supervising nursing assistants and medication aides. Monitor residents' physical and emotional status, develop individualized care plans, and complete accurate clinical documentation. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, and participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys. Current, active LPN/LVN license required with at least one year of clinical nursing experience. CPR/BLS certification preferred. Up to USD $34.70/Hr. Terre Haute, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
