Job Summary
Coordinate total resident/patient care on a designated unit by performing professional nursing duties and completing nurse aide tasks in cooperation with the unit manager. Ensure high-quality care for older adults across a continuum from residential living to skilled nursing, including services such as memory care, hospice, and home safety monitoring. Maintain current Practical Nurse licensure in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and demonstrate strong management, communication, and observation skills with an interest in geriatrics. Work three 12-hour shifts on Friday through Monday with a starting pay rate of $27 per hour plus weekend premiums.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing
- current Practical Nurse license; in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- temporary practice permit required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing (for those without a Pennsylvania license)
- Demonstrated management skills
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Demonstrated observation skills
- interest in geriatrics
- Working knowledge of computers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of Excel
