Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a senior living community. Performs nursing duties per state/local laws and the facility's policies; conducts rounds, monitors residents’ physical and psychosocial status, assigns personnel to meet resident needs, maintains accurate documentation, and communicates with staff, families, and outside agencies. Requires state licensure as an LPN and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Minnetonka, MN location with part-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
- Effective communicator with staff, families, and outside agencies.
- Ability to prioritize duties.
- Customer service-oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques.
- Ability to understand residents’ charts, doctor’s orders, residents’ plan of care, and medication orders.
- Must possess the ability to effectively gather clinical data in regard to resident status and condition.
- Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation
