Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to patients under RN or physician supervision, admitting, discharging, and transferring individuals as needed. Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, perform wound care, and collect specimens for laboratory testing. Maintain accurate patient documentation, communicate with families and interdisciplinary teams, and restock supplies while adhering to infection prevention and safety standards. Work in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, or assisted living communities. Full-time, part-time, PRN, or per diem shifts available across day, evening, night, and overnight rotations, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment
- Minimum 6 months of LPN clinical experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Annual physical examination (if required)
- Negative TB test results
- Successful background check
- COVID-19 vaccination or compliance with facility-specific vaccination/testing requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 80 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and other healthcare-related hazards
- Weekend and holiday availability as required
