Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Urgent Care

Perform general nursing care, administer prescribed medications, and coordinate patient activities in the urgent care clinic. Prepare equipment for procedures, observe and record patient conditions, and manage appointment scheduling to ensure timely flow. Greet patients, obtain health histories and vitals, screen for appropriate information, and educate them on diagnostic processes and wellness. Respond to patient phone calls, suggest solutions to care crises, and maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies. Assure appropriate labeling of pathology specimens and perform quality control on lab testing.
