Job Summary
Conduct triage, take vital signs, and document patient histories in the EMR system. Administer medications and injections, collect lab specimens, and perform clinical procedures such as IV starts and catheter placement. Assist with occupational medicine services including drug screening and pulmonary function testing while enforcing HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Operate office medical equipment and oversee quality assurance programs. Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required. Full-time 3-day/12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM with no overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- LPN licensure in Georgia
- 1+ year of healthcare experience
- Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Urgent care or ER experience
- Experience using EPIC software
- Willingness to train outstanding new graduates
- Traveling to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required
