Job Summary
Ensure efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction in accordance with state and federal regulations. Operate within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act to manage resident care and direct nursing staff during assigned shifts. Include staff assignments, mentoring, educating nursing personnel, and collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals. Maintain a professional image and demonstrate excellent communication skills while working with seniors in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must have active, and in good standing, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
