Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed to join our growing team in Dayton, OH. Responsibilities include participating in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician’s plan of care, accurately reporting patient condition and care, preparing clinical notes and summaries, assisting patients with activities of daily living and teaching self-care techniques, maintaining a safe environment, assisting physicians and RNs in complex nursing situations, following universal precautions, and following emergency procedures for Catastrophic events. Qualifications include 1 year of home care LPN experience, current LPN license, graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, CPR certification, flexible schedule with local travel, valid driver’s license, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience as an LPN in a home care setting
- Current state license as an LPN
- Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible schedule
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
- Excellent interpersonal skills
