Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Visit residents on assigned units daily to evaluate their physical and emotional status, notifying the charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing of any condition changes. Identify resident problems and emergency situations to initiate immediate lifesaving measures within the scope of your LPN license. Provide holistic care while assisting in monitoring medication, medical supply, and equipment inventory. Perform administrative duties including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and studies. Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals per facility policy. Maintain a current, valid state LPN license and CPR certification.
