Job Summary
Visit residents on assigned units daily to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status, notifying the charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing of any condition changes. Identify resident problems and emergency situations to initiate immediate lifesaving measures within the absence of a physician, while providing holistic care within your LPN license scope. Assist in monitoring medication, medical supply, and equipment inventory to ensure adequate availability, and perform administrative duties including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting. Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policies.
