Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation. Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants. Monitor residents' conditions and promptly notify physicians of any changes. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive optimal care. Shifts available include Day, Evening, or Night options for Full-Time or Part-Time roles, with every other weekend required for full-time positions. Flexible 8-hour shifts are available for PRN status. This role offers educational assistance and career growth opportunities, including advancement from LPN to RN, RN to Unit Manager, Unit Manager to ADON, and ADON to DON.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university
- A current, unencumbered, active North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current CPR certification
- At least one year of experience in Long-Term Care
- Every other weekend required
