Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Determine donor eligibility by conducting medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing while managing informed consent and confidential self-exclusion. Evaluate donor reactions and adverse events per SOPs, including developing standing orders for medical emergencies and coordinating transport to emergency care facilities. Review laboratory test results, specifically Serological Protein Electrophoresis, and notify donors of unsuitable findings or refer to the Center Physician for guidance on donor safety and eligibility. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs, manage employee incidents, and act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
