Job Summary
Deliver patient care under physician direction by preparing and assessing patients for visits, observing and reporting responses to medical treatments, and implementing care plans within the LPN scope of practice. Collaborate with physicians and health care team members to meet patient needs, label and package specimens, and act as a chaperone during examinations. Assist providers with procedures and treatments while performing assigned clerical duties. Requires active state LPN licensure, Basic Life Support certification, and one year of clinical experience. Schedule is 40 weekly hours during days.
Required Qualifications
- Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to all ages of the patients
- Ability to learn and use a computer-based patient appointment scheduling and registration system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
Desired Qualifications
- One year of clinical patient care experience
