Job Summary
Assist the physician in office procedures, patient communication, and scheduling referrals for tests and treatments. Perform functions of a clinic assistant under supervision, including preparing patients for minor surgical procedures, taking vitals, maintaining supply inventory, and sterilizing instruments. Complete lab tests and x-rays with CMA credentials. Requires a current Colorado LPN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinic setting experience. Effective communication in English and basic computer knowledge for electronic medical records are essential. This position remains open for a minimum of seven days before closing upon selection of a suitable candidate.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Colorado LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- A minimum of one year applicable clinic setting experience
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical data and professional journals
- Ability to understand and use electronic medical record software
- Ability to listen and understand patient questions and communicate complex information accurately and understandably
- Strong communication skills
