Job Summary
Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal, State, and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. Complete acute and long-term care plans, perform admission assessments and documentation, and track clinical systems such as wounds or infection control. Respond quickly to emergencies, notify physicians and families of health changes, and provide general health consultation within the community. Maintain confidentiality, communicate across departments, and lead educational meetings for residents and staff. Understand the Safety & Disaster Plan and handle discharges and clinical documentation as needed. Requires current LPN license, CPR certification, and 1+ years of senior care experience. Full-time evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse's License current in the state in which they are practicing
- CPR Certified
- 1+ years of experience in senior care or related field
- Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations in a calm and professional manner
- Training from an accredited licenses or vocational nursing program
- Area of study in General nursing
