Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living while supervising nursing assistants and medication aides per facility policy. Monitor resident status, develop individualized care plans, and complete accurate clinical documentation. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, and participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys. Full-time position with a $7,500 sign-on bonus paid over 26 payments. Requires active LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
