Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies. Monitor resident status, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality assurance activities and staff education. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing. A current, active LPN/LVN license is required, with CPR/BLS certification preferred. Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience is necessary, with long-term care experience and supervisory roles preferred. Knowledge of federal and state regulations, proficiency with EHR systems, and strong clinical judgment are essential. This role offers a $7,000 sign-on bonus for days and $10,000 for nights at Signature HealthCARE of Fentress County.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
